Biography of Dr. Carolyn
Gaillard
Dr. Carolyn Gaillard is a Family and Consumer Sciences and
Teacher Cadet Instructor at Orangeburg Consolidated School District
Five Technology Center. Dr. Gaillard has been in the field of
education for over 30 years. Her teaching experiences began with
the Orangeburg Department of Health and Environmental control as a
Nutritionist; responsible for the nutrition classes of individuals
on the WIC (Women Infants and Children) Program and women who
experienced high risk pregnancy. She later joined the SCSU 1890
program where she served as Area County Supervisor and Family Life
Specialist. Dr. Gaillard's educational career continued in
Orangeburg Consolidated School District Three where she taught
Family and Consumer Sciences courses as well as Teacher Cadet until
she transferred to Orangeburg Consolidated School District Five
Technology Center. Dr. Gaillard is National Board
Certified in Early Adolescent: Early
Adolescent through Young Adulthood/ Career and Technical
Education
