The Technology Center
The Technology Center's objective
is to provide a quality education for a diverse group of
students that incorporates challenging academic and technical
experiences with work skills that are required for success in a
global society in conjunction with the overall mission to ensure
academic success for all students. The Technology Center services
students from Bethune Bowman, North, Orangeburg-Wilkinson and
Calhoun County High schools.
We Believe That:
-Students are valued individuals with unique physical, social,
emotional, and intellectual needs.
-Students and staff should demonstrate positive relationships
and mutual respect to enhance students' self-esteem.
-Students learn best when they are actively engaged in
demonstrating their understanding of essential knowledge and skills
through hands-on, real-world applications.
-Students learn through differentiated instruction and should be
provided with a variety of instructional approaches to support
their learning in meaningful context.
-Students need the support and cooperation of parents, business
and industry, and the community.
-Students need to be actively involved in developing character,
solving problems, and producing quality work.
-Students in our school can become confident, self-directed,
lifelong learners if there is a commitment to continuous
improvement.
