The Technology Center's FBLA student organization recently collected a grand total of 665 food items for local families and the Good Sheppard Communitie's Ministries Food Pantry as part of out 1st Annual 6 Days 600 items food drive. Our seven members participated over the course of 6 days to reach unexpected goal of 600 items. With the help of faculty, staff, administrators, students and community supporters, we did it!

The initiative started when the 7 FBLA members joined together to help fight hunger for the Thanksgiving Holiday. We decided to give in an area where there was a need. We did'nt choose the families chose us. This adds life to the quote, "Faith rarely calls on us at the moment of our choosing". This project was a success as the organization was able to assist several families. There was a family that lost everything in the process of their home being burnt, but was able to recieve assistance with the help of the organization. A staff member of The Technology Center decided to reach out to us in an effort to feed them and we gave 100 food items to this family. We are happy to announce that the family was happy and appreciative.

Good Sheppard Community Ministries recieved over 110 food items to help complete their 38 baskets prepared by the Community Service Ministry.

Special thanks to everyone that supported the cause with a special thanks to our parents that supported us.
